HP: So Ready webOS OS World No. 3

CALIFORNIA - Hewlett-Packard Co. (HP) will soon bring webOS system for smartphones, all of its PC line, tablets and printers. HP is ready to enter into competition with the webOS operating software from Apple, Google and Microsoft.
HP CEO Leo Apotheker said the company should have put WebOS further into the market faster. HP takes over when it bought webOS phone from Palm Inc vendors last year.
At first, WebOS will sit on top of Windows on personal computers, light Apotheker. But lately he hinted WebOS can run itself and has licensed to other hardware makers from time to time.
However, he said that Windows will continue to have a presence at HP for many years to come. "I do not believe that Windows will fade into irrelevance," he said.
Reports come in Apotheker konfernsi "D: All Things Digital ', an annual event held by News Corp., Dow Jones & Co., who also owned The Wall Street Journal. It has become a well attended forum for executives to talk about the strategy on the coast of southern California.

CALIFORNIA - Hewlett-Packard Co (HP) akan segera menghadirkan sistem webOS untuk smartphone, semua lini PC-nya, tablet dan printer. HP pun siap memasukkan webOS ke dalam persaingan dengan operasi perangkat lunak dari Apple, Google dan Microsoft.
CEO HP Leo Apotheker mengatakan perusahaan harus telah menempatkan WebOS lebih lanjut ke pasar lebih cepat. HP mengambil alih webOS ketika membelinya dari vendor ponsel Palm Inc tahun lalu.
Pada awalnya, WebOS akan duduk di atas Windows di komputer pribadi, terang Apotheker. Namun belakangan dia mengisyaratkan WebOS dapat berjalan sendiri dan memiliki lisensi untuk pembuat perangkat keras lainnya dari waktu ke waktu.
Akan tetapi dia mengatakan Windows akan terus memiliki kehadiran di HP selama bertahun-tahun yang akan datang. "Saya tidak percaya bahwa Windows akan memudar menjadi tidak relevan," katanya.

HP berencana untuk menginstal webOS pada lebih dari 100 juta perangkat dalam setahun di semua komputer pribadi HP, printer diatas USD 100, touchpad, sedangkan tablet berencana untuk memulai musim panas ini. (tyo)
