What Webiste CMS; Website Content Management System atau di singkat WCMS adalah suatu metode dalama mengelola sebuah content atau isi dari website. Content bisa berupa teks, suara, gambar video, animasi dan aplikasi lainnya yang disimpan dalam sebuah database sehingga mudah dalam pengelolannya, baik bagi orang yang mengerti tentang teknologi web maupun yang tidak.
Website Content Managment System, dapat dibagi beberapa fungsi, yaitu:
- WCMS Portal adalah sebuah server CMS yang mempunyai banyak layanan berita, forum, mailing list, email dan lain sebagainya. Misalanya, CMS Joomla, CMS drupal, CMS Wordpress, dan lainnya.

- WCMS Gallery adalah server CMS yang menyediakan wadah untuk menampilkan gallery foto. Misalnya CMS Galery, CMS Copermine dan lainnya.
Dan Webiste Content Management ini dapat dikelompokan menajdi:
- WCMS Komersial, Jenis WCMS ini jelas harus membayar untuk menggunakannya serta untuk mendapatkan source codenya.
- WCMS Open Source, ini merupakan jenis WCMS yang paling banyak beredar di internet, karena bersifat open source dan berlisensi GPL.
